我们沿用英美精英学校所遵守的个人导师制度,每名导师带领8-15名学生并有固定的一对一交流时间。导师为学生提供个性化支持方案,确立操作性强、可实现的短期目标,在学业、生活、心理等方面提供全方位的支持与帮助。将每一位学生都放在教育教学的中心,并结合中国学校班主任与海外学校学院导师制度的优势,为学生创设全方位、多维度、个性化的全人关顾体系。
每位学生在入学后都会被分配到一个学院和一位导师名下。每位导师负责8-15名左右的学生,导师负责与其他学科老师、运动教练和宿舍管理团队合作,对学生的学术、社交和寄宿生活进行密切关注,全方位帮助学生的成长。学院体系则提供给学生一个团队合作、友好互动和竞争的平台,培养学生卓越的领导能力、团队精神和竞争意识。各个学院和导师小组均由来自各年级的学生组成,犹如常青藤学子在校园生活中的“大家庭”与“小家庭”——高年级的学生将会以身作则,充分发挥领导力,为低年级的学弟学妹答疑解惑,通过自身经历帮助低年级学生顺利向高年级过渡;低年级学生则会以学长学姐为榜样,在求学的道路上不断向着理想的人生目标靠近。为了更好地营造家的氛围,常青藤校长坚持在校园内饯行“Open Door Policy” ,他与师生们共进颇有仪式感的午餐或晚餐,更欢迎每一位遇到问题的学生或教师前来当面沟通,以开放的心态听取师生的意见,为共建美好学习共同体而出谋划策。因为这不仅仅只是传授知识的地方,更是常青藤师生共同体验与度过的人生,是我们共同的“家”。
Shanghai Ivy School has inherited the tradition of the British and American elite schools and established five colleges. Each college is composed of students of different grades.
